Version 1.5.0.300 is out! Mostly bug-fixes, but here's a changelog:

- Lightened the load even more.
- Made program more portable
- New Skin now defaults to 1.8 human
- New Skin now checkerboards the default area instead of white, makes it easier to see in 2D view
- All "Delete" operations now send to Recycle Bin
- Fixed a huge issue with the root folder (should fix any issues with moving, cloning and renaming)
- New/Copied skins and folders now properly use the New prefix, and refer to language files for "New", "Copy", etc.
- Tree view default height was wrong, caused some distortion on heads.
- Re-upgraded to .NET 4.0
- Reduced size of exception messages
- Moved tool options dropdown to top-right

Not many changes, but, Pony support is in. It's not entirely completed yet, as we're in the process of re-designing the "parts" to be more modular.

I also fixed a few tiny bugs, as well as two MAJOR bugs (paint bucket/color picker were swapping G and B value, as well as a render bug that caused paint bucket to crash).

The new color wheel isn't in this version, but it will be in the next beta.

Suddenly I am inspired to learn C and C++.
this project doesn't use either of those languages, it uses C#.
but I'd never stop someone from learning C.
I just use skindex editor LOL I might use this now^^

When you downloaded it, did you do anything different from me..?
I downloaded, dragged out the .exe,
and clicked run. It said I was missing languages (I didn't remove them tho)
Then it said application failed; etc.
Idk am I supposed to extract the whole zip file or something?

Not sure if you read comments about this but I got a suggestion. Maybe add a online for large brush sizes to make it easier to tell where the brush is(mostly noise has this issue).
when i try to make a new skin it gets an error how2fix???

saying this because : that's primary for a Minecraft Skin editor. it's primary for you to be able to import and export. i thinked this could work (as skincraft is old and skincraft can't take vantage of ALL things in the 3d skin modeling (on skin packs) and Miners need cool shoes is LOTS OF BUGGY for me and has the same 3d problem, but no. this is just even more broken. i hate it.

Whenever I Launch my MCSKIN3D it just say "MCSKIN3D Stopped Working" Not giving any reports can anyone fix that, Paril Please Reply! :D TBH Iv downloaded this long ago and it works fine until now
Always download the newest version to avoid problems. Updating usually fixes any problem.

I did download the newest version always
Uninstall it completely and then reinstall it. If that doesn't work try running as administrator. Otherwise, troubleshoot the program. I could go on and on and possible ways to fix it...

I have found the problem. MCSkin3D cannot be opened from your desktop. However, you can drag the McSkin3D folder onto your desktop then open the program from there. Hope this helped :P

I had this problem before. First I made sure I had the .NET framework that is linked in the description, and I downloaded it from the direct link in the description, not the "download" button on the yellow box on the right. I don't know if it'll work for you, but personally, it might work better if you make sure you haven't clicked the yellow button on the PMC submission for the download.

Suggestion: When opening a file that does not have a model applied to it (like a file from a texture pack), MCSkin3D should attempt to auto-select a model based on a file's name instead of having everything default to the player model? For example when opening a file called "boat_birch.png" it will use the boat model as long as the image has the correct resolution ratio.

I have a problem with mine! When I increase resolution, the tiny block of color is like a mile away from my cursor.. and when I scroll over the empty zone the block dissapears. Is this suppose to happen, and if now how do I fix the problem?
