Don't install to Program Files! Recommended installation directory is C:/MCSkin3D/

If you used Legacy version previously, please update to 1.6! It should work for you now.

Heyo, hope you're having a grand time, came to inquire about an update compatible with Apple?
I've been able to use MCSkin3D on my mac book air since 2016, while opening the exe with wine bottler, allowing me to use a very buggy version, I've been on break from skinning for months now, I've been wanting to come back into skinning but I cant open the MCSkin3D with my wine anymore, Do you think you'll ever make it compatible?

I dont know if this is a dumb question or not, but, Im wondering Is there is any way to load more than one skin at a time? I mean If I had a base model and I wanted to layer a second skin on top of it like a beard. Is there a way to do that using this tool?

Now that I have had time to use the tool more aside from not having layering this is The best tool for skins ever! I cant wait to see what the future holds. :) thank you for the reply btw

This is an excellent tool, it would be nice to see this post updated so that there isn't a nonexistent video embedded.

Unfortunately it seems PuppetHound deleted all of his videos. Maybe some day I'll find a better one. I'm working on something new for skin developers.

All good and thank you very much for the reply, as I truly had no idea why the video is gone but truly can't recommend MCSkin3D enough. I didn't know of it (I'm pretty new to skinning) until I saw it listed here as a valid thing for making PMC submissions, and I've been using it ever since.

The program is an advanced skinning software/ program. It allows coloring and shading techniques that web based editors don't allow at all or easily

might need an update of the tool possibly idk
Microsoft .NET Framework 4 is already a part of this operating system. You do not need to install the .NET Framework 4 redistributable. More information.

Same or higher version of .NET Framework 4 has already been installed on this computer.

Um, Im having a problem where it keeps saying that the base language folder or something is missing, and then it tells me that the program can't run because its unstable. This problem never happened until i clicked the "Lower skin rez" in the menu, Im not sure if thats what broke it, but if anyone knows how to help me i'd be very grateful,

Hey, this might just have an easy fix and I just haven't searched enough, but I've been using Wine to open mcskin3d for quite a while now and it was all going pretty well, but now mcskin3d wont open at all? I've tried right clicking and pressing open, and it looks like its starting up, but the app never actually opens?? There might not be a fix at all and maybe I'll just have to try using a different program, but I've already tried re-downloading Wine and mcskin3d. I'm kinda stumped lmao. //Also I'm no tech expert so uh if anyone decides to reply, might you be as considerate to put it in simple terms ; v;??//

Thanks for taking the time to read if you did! -Rain

Hey better words pls
I love this skin editor so much!! I finally got it to work again after months of Norton automatically deleting it because it is an .exe file, and I've fallen back in love! I have a few suggestions though of how to improve because there are just a few issues that could probably be resolved to make users' experiences even more enjoyable!

 • 1. Norton security does automatically delete the file and the Norton settings themselves do need to be edited to prevent deletion of the programme. This means security risks are increased as the settings are not at their maximum to prevent viruses/malware installing themselves on computers.
 • 2. The Alex model's arms are slightly disjointed. What I mean by this is they are not in line with the top of the body and are about half a pixel too low which makes lining up skin textures a little difficult.

Overall I am really happy with this editor! I just thought I'd bring these issues to your attention so the editor can continue to be improved.

Thank-you for your hard work!! :)

The program is great for me in most cases, but at times it's unreliable, where when I click the dropper and move to pencil, the pencil stops working, and I have to fiddle about for like, 10 minutes before it fixes itself. . . But then again it has smoothing tools skindex doesn't.

Yeah I know. I've been working on the sequel to this program, so I haven't had time to fix some of the obvious bugs.
can i make a suggestion for something like a reference tab, like where you could put a reference photo and take colors from it for accuracy?

I have a problem. I was just making skins and I wanted my pen size to be one pixel but whenever I tried to click it, it always goes to the sizes above. I am really sad because I like the program but I don't know if it's a problem with my computer or the program in general, if anyone else has the same problem and knows how to fix it, please let me know. If it's a problem with MCSkin3D in general I really hope that they will fix it
