The point of this mod is to replace the generation of Netherrack with diamond. Its meant to be for fun. Its not meant to be practical. If he wanted to make any kind of ore spawn in the Nether, He should have just added a new one.

HOORAY FOR WORLDEDIT AND MCEDIT!
1) Uninstall the mod by restoring a backup of your minecraft jar file.
2) Then use MCEdit to replace the diamond with Netherrack.
3) ????
4) PROFIT!

Except for any diamonds you mined in the nether and you world fixed so you can get netherrack legitimately again.
