Pearls can now repair themselves! details below!
Welcome to my fantastic Obsidian Pearl Mod. To start off this mod is about repairing tools and armor without the need for materials and experience. This mod as the name suggests will make use of a new set of items call Obsidian Pearls. These pearls are crafted from obsidian and lava. Once crafted you may add other items such as iron ingots, flint, redstone, etc. to make a pearl capable of enchanting your tools and armor. All the recipes are explained in detail on my website BobTheGodly.weebly.com.
To use a pearl simply place it in your helmet armor slot and any tool you are currently using will be repaired and enchanted.(Will only enchant if the enchantment is compatible and item is unenchanted). This means it will not repair armor unless you place it in the hot bar. Since there are over 300 items added in this mod more information such as enchantment types, and recipes will be available at my site/blog. Link shown above.
Pearls have the ability to repair themselves after being damaged.(They obtain damage as they repair your items). No amount of damage will destroy a pearl, however you must right click the pearl the same way as when you eat, and it will consume a bucket of lava to restore part of itself in return.

Have something to say?
Just wanna say that I saw the showcase GiantJ777 posted, and this looks like an awesome mod. Problem is, I can't seem to figure out how to install it.
Forge doesn't read the zip file. If I rename it to .jar, it causes my launcher to crash while it's attempting to load my mods (but it does detect the mod). If I extract the contents, it also crashes the launcher.
Am I doing it wrong? Your help is very much appreciated.
Thanks! :)
