Hello landlubber!

Do you dare to survive in a world made only of water? Well, then put yourself in the role of a survivor of an exploded spaceship and follow the trail and story that leads you to different locations, other survivors, new merchants and structures.

Travel endless oceans, meet new traders, find other survivors in escape pods to build your own community, use the onboard devices to encode audio messages, new recipes, audio coordinates information and to produce oxygen, find many new recipe data chips in wreckages and other places, find audio message data chips with messages of other survivors or of bordcomputers, get data chips with new coordinates to travel to, learn how to build a variety of underwater bases with farm elements and how to combine them, place a massive floating island platform to build your own structures above water, place different wooden ships in your world, pack up the placed structures back in your inventory, craft divebags, backpacks and freight containers to transport and store your items.

Anyone who has previously played the game Subnautica will notice similarities. The background story is similar. Your mothership got caught in an asteroid field near a water planet. It exploded but you were able to make it into an escape pod and landed on the water surface of the planet. Now you are on your own in this desert of water.

Craft two types of oxygen tanks to stay underwater. Create three types of water jets that will make you faster underwater. Use them in combination with found jet boots to travel even more fast. Process and use the resources you can find on the ocean floor to craft components, materials, devices and to trade with. Use and craft diving tools to get resources faster under water.


Resources:

Metal Scrap: found on the ocean floor, break with hand, drops 1-3 pieces, found in all biomes
Carbon: found on the ocean floor, break with hand, drops 1-3 pieces, used to craft concentrated O2 or to craft charcoal, found in all biomes
Shells: found on the ocean floor, break with hand, drops 1-3 pearls, found in all biomes
Nickel: found on the ocen floor, break with iron pickaxe or above, drops 1 piece, found only in deep oceans, ocean and frozen ocean biomes
Tungsten: found on the ocean floor, break with diamond pickaxe or above, drops 1 piece, found only in deep oceans biomes
Uranite: found on the ocean floor, break with diamond pickaxe or above, drops 1 piece, found only in ocean, deep ocean, frozen ocean and ocean biomes.
Silicate: made by processing gravel, gives 1 piece

Steel Alloy: a iron-copper alloy, 2 third steel, 1 third copper
Bronze Alloy: a copper-iron alloy, 2 third copper, 1 third iron
Titanium Ingot: an ingot made of metal scrap by smelting
Composite: a composite ingot made of kelp and sea grass
Nickel Ingot: an ingot made of raw nickel by smelting
Tungsten Ingot: an ingot made of raw tungsten by smelting
Uranite Ingot: an ingot made of raw uranite by smelting
Pearl: a pearl found in shells, used to trade with the Pearls Merchant,

To place a habitat or structure right click with habitat in main hand on ocean floor or as described the platform one block and the ships two blocks below the water surface. Each structure will have a deconstruction block. When you have placed a structure you´ll get a deconstructor item.

To pack up a habitat or structure rightclick with deconstructor item on the deconstruction block.

All the habitats and the platform are made of unbreakable blocks to avoid duplication.

Divebag: a divebag to store O2 and items with 18 slots

The map:

The map is a complete ocean world where I built the structures in. All ocean biomes, minecraft underground structures and all dimensions are available. The coordinates display mod by boxadactl:

When you get detector information you have to check your coordinates to get to new locations. To avoid using the F3 button use the coordinates display mod. This will give you the coordinates, the direction and the biome you´re in. Turn on and off with key letter "o".

TIPS:

At first turn off water particles to avoid dripping in your bases. If you want to check the creative tab with all the items and blocks before playing, create a new creative world and have a look there because the map is in survival mode and cheats are disabled. If you want to change this, download NBT Explorer software for example to edit the save file. You can change it at: level.dat/data. Type in a 1 at allow commands and save.

Rightclick with the data chip on the message encoder to hear the introducing audio message of the escape pod bord computer. To get your first wood dismantle found shipwrecks. You will find one nearby. Get your first resources from the sea bed to get the first recipes and to craft O2 capsules. To produce oxygen rightclick with found carbon on O2 extractor. Get cobblestone for a furnace to smelt metal scrap. The first time you craft a build kit you`ll get the recipes for the basic habitats.

Follow the trail of the wreckage parts in a southerly direction. Search the larger wreckage parts for entrances. You have to find 1x1 entrances to get into the structures. Swim inside and you´ll find new data chips and materials in freight containers. Also spreaded freight containers are sometimes to find nearby the wreckage parts. When you´ve found the first message and detector data chips, you have reached the last wreckage part for now. This message will lead you to the first escape pod to continue with the story. When you follow the wreckage parts you will find these recipes: Electronic Components, Computer Chip, Energy Cell, Water Jet MK I, Small + Large Habitat, Large + Large Habitat. If you miss one of these recipes you should search the wreckage parts again.
