    We added Shrek and Donkey in Minecraft Java edition

    It fully works in multiplayer and could be a nice challenge for your survival world

    Shrek is a mob which replaces the Witch. It is fast and will attack you. It has the ability to split if you are close enough. It will then get red eyes.
    It will drop onions which replaces beetroots.

    Donkey is simply a donkey. (jokes apart, I had no idea what to do with it)


    Both have custom models and animations.

    Due to the complexity of the models, I do not recommend to use this datapack on a small pc.

    Open the settings :
    /function shrek:settings

    Uninstall the datapack :
    /function shrek:uninstall

    Final Update for this simple datapack.

    Shrek now has the ability to split :
      If your are close enough, it will get red eyes. After 100 ticks it will split.
      The split mecanic can be stopped if there are to much shrek in the world.
      By default, it's when they are more than 5 shrek.
      You can choose this number by opening the settings tab :
      /function shrek:settings

    Added Donkey:
      It replaces the normal donkeys but doesn't do anything particular.

    Added function /function shrek:uninstall

    shrek is like 8ft 4 and steve is just under 6 feet

    Is there any way this can just be a resource pack? like its just an entity? Or like a helmet you can put on an invisible mob to make the animation start

    The idea is great but my god those models are way too voxely. Please, please, please cut back on the element count by like 500%. (I mean like making the entire head one thing plus 1-2 for each ear, the entire body 1, etc.)

    Don't worry, I know that those models are not adapted to the graphique style of minecraft, but I won't change them ! It gives them such a hilarious and unique look ! :D
    I'm currently making the donkey in the same "voxely" style.

    Sadly I've never seen a "good" model of shrek in minecraft, so if you wanna try by yourself, go ahead ! :)
