It's simple.
Simple Survival
This mod allows you to craft everything that monsters drop (not including spider eyes and mob heads) in realistic recipes.
It also allows you to craft non-monster items, like tridents and chainmail armor. To get these awesome recipes, first click the download button above, and then, on your computer (I'm sorry, I don't know the windows directory, this is for macs), go to the \Library\Application Support\minecraft\mods\ and then put the downloaded file (called simplesurvival[something].0.zip) and put it in the mods folder.
In-game, type the command /getrecipes to get the recipes in this mod.
This mod also includes three new items, sulfate, saltpetre, and chainmail. The latter can be crafted, and the former is found in dirt sometimes, and the middle is an ore.
