Are you tired of mining Stone, only to be given back Cobblestone? Well this very simple mod doesn't fix that! Instead, you can take that Cobble, smelt it, and THEN it becomes Sturdy Stone! Sturdy Stone is 100% guaranteed not to break down and become Cobblestone again. It avoids those messy moments when building with Stone where you misplace a block and have to re-smelt it while still giving you the option to have regular Stone!

If you would prefer to use regular stone or need to quickly turn your cobblestone to stone, simply put 9 cobblestone in a crafting bench and it will become stone.

Sturdy Stone may be used for the same recipes that Stone is used for and looks exactly alike.

I changed the mod so that you need 9 cobblestone to make 1 stone.
Why 9 cobble? Well 8 cobble wouldn't work because 8 cobble in a circle = furnace!
Also, the 9th cobble is to substitute for the 1 coal that it would take to smelt the 8 cobble.
Smelting cobblestone still produces Sturdy Stone.

its op and if u wanted something like that just make a new crafting recipe for stone, you didn't need a new block for that

how is it op? It doesn't make your game any easier/harder. It just makes it more convenient to play while giving you access to a stone that will give you cobble and a stone that will give you stone.

its op because usually it requires a bit of fuel to turn cobblestone into stone at the same rate and your sturdy stone returns stone after breaking meaning even less smelting. using this mod u could turn a chest full of cobble into a chest full of stone without using stacks of coal

So would making the recipe 4 cobble = 1 or 2 stone make it less op, in your opinion?
