December 25th, 2014 - after 5 months of hard work, it was finally ready. The Transformers Mod could be released to the public.

Today, exactly 1 year later, we're celebrating the public release of the Transformers Mod, by doing something that's been requested by the community ever since the mod was first announced. Introducing:

As of current, the mod only adds two new sets of armor; G1 Optimus Prime and G1 Starscream. In the future, there will be more G1 characters.

The G1 Optimus Prime set provides 50% more protection than Diamond armor. To put that in perspective, it is very evenly matched with Ultimate Armor from OreSpawn, and provides almost as much protection. However, it is much more expensive to make than normal Transformer armor.

For crafting recipes, using NEI (Not Enough Items) is advised.

This mod requires Forge to be installed, along with having version 0.6.2 or later of the Transformers Mod in your mods folder. It will not work without it!

Modpack Permissions
You may use this mod in your modpack as long as you credit the original creator (FiskFille) and link back to the original post.
Curse for Minecraft client distribution is allowed.

I think you should add the weapons for each G1 Transformer you add, starting with the 2 you already added, Optimus and Starscream.

hey actually um from my list that i wanted forget it all id like to see is gridlock g1 and Bruticus and i have a way of making bruticus, you see a way you'd be able to do so is by making a new block called the,"Combiners Block" and you would put the heads of Brawl, Swindle, Onslaught, Vortex, and Blastoff and it would form the bruticus head and that would go for the rest of the body, and a fail safe system could be that if you want the parts back then you put Bruticus head in the "Combiners Block" and in the slots at a back area you would get the heads/body parts back.

hey fisk on the next update and I do understand if you don't want to but can you add grimlock G1/dinobots G1/sideswipe G1/ironhide G1/Movie Bumblebee/ etc. and like i said you don't have to do any of these but it might bring lots of publicity and tons of downloads and show ups on youtube, and like i said you don't have to do all/any of these characters there just guys i want to see in the mod being a fan of transformers G1

Hey, Fisk, I suggest this:
Add to every transformer a melee and a ranged weapon.
Add standard vehicles (Neutral robots, like the "Create-A-Bot" from Transformers: Autobots DS and Transformers: Decepticons DS.
Add Barricade.
Add Blackout.
Add Brawl.
Add Bumblebee.
Add Ironhide.
Add Ratchet.
Add universal weapons.
Add different ranged guns: Example: Optimus Prime could have a missile launcher, a raygun and a minigun.
Add Option to color the Weapons of a transformer. Blackout could have a dual missile launcher, 2 miniguns, and a big minigun while in vehicle mode.
Add Medical Kits (Like wrenches or implants).
Add more Autobots.
That are all my suggestions.

Can you make a trailer for him that becomes a sword, an ax, a blaster shield(a shield that can act as a gun), and flight gear that has dual machine guns? If you do, you should be able to hold the shield and a melee weapon. The trailer should also connect to Optimus in truck mode.

Fisk, i just want u to know THIS IS AWESOME! love the mod. Thinking for another Haddon we could get the movie characters, like sideswipe, Sentinel Prime etc. just an idea. Keep up the good work. ur amazingg at this!

It does not. There were some major changes made to the TF API with the 0.6 update, so I'll have to release an update to the G1 Edition to support these changes.

It's official. You're one of my favorite mod creators. I just love how much respect you have to the 80s, to Optimus, to this whole brand. I'll be keepin' tabs on your mods more closely. If it's not too OP, I think you should give Op a couple buffs to speed and strength and fire resistance and water breathing for logic's sake.

I'm also 16, but the first Transformers I watched was the Unicron Trilogy. It wasn't until later in life that I decided to watch through all of G1, and I loved it.

Yay!!! Update!
My version keeps saying "minimum version required is 0.5.12" what does that mean? and how do i fix it? :)
never mind i just forgot to add the other transformers mod in aswell. But for some reason when i put a helmet on the in game screen goes black.

FYI I have not tested this so I will try it
Guys if u use Armourer's Workshop and Flan's Future Craft you can make your own Transformer that doesn't transform unless u make a second armor that is the vehicle with the Animated Players mod cuz u can fly rly cool or you can use More Player Models to make ur body so small that u can wear the armor and no one will know its you with the MPM mod you can lie down flat and u can hold shift so use a speed potion to make u fast and u press the keypad in direction u wanna go and you it looks like ur driving
