50' PS 5344 Boxcars. These cars were very popular and a good amount of them still roam the rails to this day. Almost 7,000 were built with owners ranging from class ones to shortlines. MMA is known for painting one boxcar into the BAR scheme. SBVR, TM, and GRN had good amounts of these cars, and all of the Rock Island ones went to CNW. The Boston and Maine cars were repainted from their original blue paint.
