I created this structure as homage to my love for Greek and Roman architecture. I was trying to create a Parthenon that captured the features present when it was built in ancient times. The Parthenon was massive having a total of 85 pillars.

The building is a 1:1 scale keeping in mind that every block in Minecraft is 1 cubic meter. I was able to include small details such as the pictures bordering the roof and the statue of Athena. The Parthenon has a few details missing that I was not able to include, such as a more detailed statue of Athena Parthenos in the center as well as the fighting figures on the pediment of the roof.

I built this in about two days by myself. I had previously made a small scale model as a draft for the larger scale model.
