1.9+ Multi Floor Elevator

This lift seen before you is the multi-floor version of the previous lift I designed and built. However, the multi-floor ability is added to the 2 wide platform lift and not the 1 wide version. How it works is, you first select a floor. Then, stand in the designated space, and press the button to the side. Then, you're either lifted up at approx. 30 blocks/second or pistons will retract at a safe pace for no fall damage to occur. However, I cannot guarantee that this will be SMP friendly, so I warn you now that it is not a good idea unless you're on single player and/or little to no lag exists.

Pros: Approx. 30 blocks/second upward
No fall damage from descend

Cons: A small chance of the piston not bringing you up and causing you to become trapped
Fairly slow descend
Can be expensive
Size changes depending on the number of floors
