HEY everyone, i know ive bin away for a longer time but here i am with a free to use (also for commercial use) 4096x4096 blocks island.
Its made like nature formed it by rain, sea, earth and wind!
its made for 1.7 conquest users for best experience.
i do have to admit its not amazing to build castles of huge city's but it looks amazing if i may say so myself.
to explain a little bit about the stone textures you see you first need to know about a resourcepack called conquest
its made my monsterfish and the basic idea is that he also textured A LOT metadata in the game.
metadata is for example 1:5 the block id for stone is 1, but in 1.7 and below there is a :1 to :16 metadata
and monsterfish was able to also texture them !!!
for example i texture my rocks with slope steepness

Q: can i use this for my server?
A: of course you can!
Q: can i make a PMC project on this?
A: if you upload the project to PMC i do hope you send me a link so i can support your project ^^
Q: can i use the map for a youtube video/series?
A: yup u can, not even need to credit
Q: Do i HAVE to give credit if i use the map?
A: NO! all i hope is that you have fun with it because i had fun making it ^^
Q: Can i use the map for "commercial use"
A: yep just dont claim to be the map maker.
Q: so i do need to give credit?
A: i just hope you dont claim to be the map maker or re upload the map here on PMC that is the only
thing i dont want you to do

in world painter i make that every block with about 36° and above 1:1, 1:2, 13:0 and 13:1
which look like this
then what i do is above that layer i make every block with an about 40° and higher slope into just that the gravels
AKA 13:0 and 13:1
when i did that i again do the same with every block above something like 45° slope and above into 1:6
which is a light stone metadata
above that another layer with a steeper slope becomes normal stone
and at last a layer of 1:5 and 1:10 which are 2 dark stone metadata's mostly about 70° slope angle and higher.
this all creates a nice mountain slope start and a point of the steeper the darker, that creates this amazing look.
