This is a 7 segment display, pinned out as follows:

Which is the default segment pinout found in the real world.
There are tons of these out there, this is mine. Constructed from the ground up to be new builder friendly (IE Color Coded pinout, above ground construction, easy to follow wiring.)
This is my first schematic anywhere. Decided to put this up here after downloading a few BCD circuits from here. Returning the favor etc etc.

Im only just getting started in MC... but Ive seen many great games, 'LCD' Displays, calculators, even computers, Most of which output to something like this.
I see you have some awesome projects in this vein... (Runs off to DL and play with them all) :)
