A working, animated windmill.

*Now updated for 1.8!*
*Schematic added!*

Using the /clone command, it loops through 10 stages of rotation. Due to symmetry, it only has to rotate 90 degrees before repeating. A total of 14 command blocks are used: 1 for each stage and 4 for turning it on and off.

Originally built in vanilla 1.7 using 532 command blocks with the /setblock command looping through the 10 stages.

What minecraft version? World download or schematic? Can you find which command block is giving the error message? (under previous output)

That's really cool. I don't think people are using the set block command as much as they should. Like your project shows, there are some really awesome things you can do with it.

Thanks. The clone command in the current snapshots make things even easier. When 1.8 is released, I'll update this so it can be exported in a schematic.
