For anyone having issues with the leaves disappearing/decaying when the tick speed is more than 0, I have a simple fix that you can use. Follow these steps precisely, FIRST you make sure your random tick speed is set to 0 by using this command "/gamerule randomTickSpeed 0", secondly you paste in the schematic, then use world edit to change the leaves to the persistent variant by using this command "//replace oak_leaves oak_leaves[persistent=true" then paste the schematic again but ensure the "pasteReplaceBehavior" located in the configuration menu>Generic is set to "none" after pasting it you can then change the random tick speed to anything and the leaves won't decay.
