All Hallows Abbey

The Abbey of all hallows is based on the old abbey of Bury St Edmunds in England which survived until the 1500's and was destroyed on henry the 8ths dissolution of the monastaries.

The abbey is said to have been like a small town, with a defensive wall, not much survives today but ruins but you can still see parts of the old wall and the main cathedral. So large was the old abbey that the small church near the bell tower, both of which still survive intact today, is now considered the main cathedral of Bury St Edmunds
