Hello, it's time for another upload!

This time, as promised, it's the Archer-class patrol vessel, the second smallest commissioned vessel in the Royal Navy. There are 16 of these currently in service, making up the bulk of our patrol boat fleet. These are a little larger and admittedly more interesting than the Scimitars, and I was able to squeeze more detail into this design. Armament is 3 x FN MAG general-purpose machine guns, two on the upper bridge section on either side and one up front. These ships have the provision to fit a 20mm Oerlikon on the bow, but none of them currently have it fitted.

I like the green deck on this one, green decks are very typical of many modern Royal Navy warships, going all the way back to the end of the Second World War. You can see this with the HMS Cavalier museum in Chatham. Like the Scimitar-class, this ship took less than 2 hours to design and build, using a range of high-quality images as my references, plus the usual shipbucket profile drawing.

I understand that these last two ships have not been as exciting as some of the other stuff that I've posted, but I promise, more interesting ships are on the way. I will be going through and posting all of the modern Royal Navy vessels that I've designed in succession, breaking only to showcase my two favourite ships from 2018, that I've still yet to show off, keep your eyes peeled for those. As for when I built these ships, it was in the summer of 2021, which makes these and the other RN vessels I've yet to highlight the newest ships in my collection.
