Arkon Cone-Home

Here's another project of mine.

It is my interpretation of an arkonian cone-home from the "Perry Rhodan"-SciFi-Novels.
In that Novels there are the arkonids, a highly developed humanoid species. They live in cone-shaped houses which are very large. You can view a papercraft version here.

As you can see, usually there's a large cone-shaped free space in the middle of the house, but due to the small size of my replica I decided not to make on. Instead I tried to convert this characteristic feature by using glass in the floors all around the stairs.

On a side note, it's pretty hard to fill a circle-shaped room with cubic furniture ...
