After weeks of journeying following the ancient ways, and rumors of a safe haven in the middle of the harsh desert Steve begun to see things, and had difficulty with maintaining a spiritual presence as he drifted in and out of dehydration fueled hallucinations. He still maintained his faith however, determined he could succeed when all others had failed to survive the conditions and reach the fabled temple. At last, he saw something on the horizon, a break in the monotonous unchanging gentle rising and falling of the desert. As he drew closer he realized he had reached his destination, the temple. The monument to the balance.
