Over the past 2 months, I have been working in worldpainter on recreating The Refugium, a fictional world showcased by youtuber Biblaridion.
This is my first worldpainter map, so I hope you enjoy! The map also includes and end portal, naturally occurring resources, caves etc. As well as some hidden remnants of the people that inhabit the world in the lore.
This map has been tested in 1.17 and 1.16 but should work in versions 1.13+
In 1.17, very tall mountains will feature powdered snow occasionally, so be carefull!
Missing features
I couldn't fit in everything (hence why it says the map is 90% complete) so here's a list of the missing features of the map:
- Rivers (I am sorry about this one, I tried to implement rivers, but I discovered they are beyond my expertise. Again, this is my first map)
- Correct biomes (Even though most biomes are correct the deserts, more accurately the area of land I didn't add any layers too because it was already made out of sand, are still technically plains biomes because I couldn't figure out how to fill the desert with a desert biome in worldpainter. This shouldn't matter too much, but I think it's worth mentioning anyway)
I have spend a long time on this project, so I will take a break from worldpainter for a while, but I plan to add these things once I figure out how too.
I do want to make it clear that I am not responsible for the creating of this conworld, that would be biblaridion. I only adapted it into minecraft. I will leave a link to his video on the conworld.
