This is a 1:1 reconstruction of the burgus at Ahegg in modern day Germany.
The tower like building measured 10,8 m x 11 m and was surrounded by a ditch. It was in use over the course of the fourth century and was probably manned by a dozen men.
As a source I basically just used the german wikipedia article for the burgus which you can find here.

The real building actually stood on a hill chain overlooking the forests of the roman border region so maybe it's a bit similar to how one would imagine a medieval watchtower.
