on Carnival Sunshine,
of course!
Today, I present to you a project I've been wanting to do since I started Minecraft over a year ago- the Carnival Sunshine! Sunshine used to be Destiny, which was then refurbished in April of 2013 for over $445 million!
Background on Carnival Destiny:
Carnival Destiny was launched in 1996 as the world's first cruise ship ever to surpass 100,000 GT, and was also the largest cruise ship in the world at the time. Because of this, Destiny was kept in high demand over her years of service. But in April of 2013, she would retire to make way for Carnival Sunshine...
Background on Carnival Sunshine:
Carnival Sunshine underwent a 2-month dry dock period, in which all of her interior spaces were completely redone. Cabins were redesigned and given a fresh new look. Public spaces were re-thought, re-designed, and re-vamped. The atrium got a fresh new look as the Sunshine Atrium, with a bar and Sun in the center of it. The main dining rooms were redesigned, and many new specialty restaurants such as Cucina Del Capitano and Fahrenheit 555 Steakhouse were introduced. The Liquid Lounge, Alchemy Bar, and Ocean Plaza were also added to Sunshine. But the most interesting part, of course, of Sunshine was the complete re-doing of her top deck. Serenity, an adult's-only retreat, was added to the forward area of the top decks, and two completely new decks of Spa Cabins were added to the existing superstructure. Sunshine went from having no adult's area to the largest at sea, complete with a waterfall. Down on the lido deck, the pool was redone, and the addition of the Red Frog Rum Bar and Blue Iguana Tequila Bar added a flare to the pool deck. But perhaps the most significant difference on Sunshine was the addition of Waterworks and Sports Square, an amazing area for families and adults of all ages. Three waterslides, including two racing slides and one Twister slide, were added. And on Sports Square, Sky Course was built circling around a basketball court, mini-golf, life-sized chess, shuffleboard, and so much more! You'll just have to download her to see for yourself....
