This project is an reconstitution of the Palace of Versailles as it was in 1670.
It corresponds to the great phase of work carried out by the architect Louis le Vau. The old castle is largely preserved, and "wrapped" by larger apartments.
At this time the castle has a large terrace between the apartments of the king and the queen. (The Hall of Mirrors didn't exist at this moment)
As my previous project "Château de Versailles - 1665", I am inspired by a video describing the evolution of the castle available here (English version).
In future:
- The gardens will soon be restored

Ce projet a pour objectif de reconstituer le château de Versailles tel qu'il était en 1670.
Cela correspond à la grande phase de travaux effectués par l'architecte Louis le Vau. L'ancien château est en grande partie conservé et "enveloppé" par des appartements plus grands.
À cette époque, le château dispose d'une grande terrasse entre les appartements du roi et la reine. (La Galerie des glaces n'existait pas encore à ce moment).
Tout comme mon précédent projet "Château de Versailles - 1665", je me suis inspiré d'une vidéo décrivant l'évolution du château disponible ici (version Française).
À venir:
