Imagine a city where everything is functional and practical in use, this is the thinking behind my city. A city where the train stations can handle 1200 minecart traffic at any given time, streets built for the usage of horses and homes that are lacking in bathrooms and thunderboxes [-australian translation- toilets]. I am in the first stages of construction which is mining the landscape for the required 216 x 324 blocks of land for the construction of the Mayan inspired step pyramid which will contain space for............for something that i haven't thought of yet, probably commerce or governmental facilities. The top of the pyramid will have a mansion/palace on top as a royal residence. surrounding this pyramid will be a 30 block high wall with a single gated entrance through the wall.

I intend to use survival for most of the construction and creative for the basic materials of the blocks for my city that i can't get through normal means on a large scale. There will be no MCEdit used whatsoever as I have no flippin idea how to use it. Now for the record the house i show i  the images is a design from a series of youtube videos and only the courtyard at the back is my own design as is the internal layout of the rooms furnishing. My long term release will be aimed at those constructing servers and adventure world makers. For servers i will offer two versions of the map; one with an industrial sector and another without one for use of natural industry i.e forests and non mechanized farms. Please let me know what you think, but no negative nonconstructive comments please.

Semi-final Dimensions and rough plan of Stage 1.
Stage 1 is the clearing and construction of the main part of the royal residence complex, which includes a large 2 storey mansion house with rear courtyard and sculpted garden. The step pyramid on which the house resides and the protective wall which will surround it. The outline perimeter dimensions for these structure are: Mansion is 98 blocks by 206 blocks squared, Pyramid is 216 blocks by 324 blocks squared and the Protective wall is 564 blocks by 564 blocks squared. The wall is being designed to be a small town in its own right as a place for the residence of guards and their training grounds. Internal space is to be 174 blocks on two sides and 120 blocks on the other two sides, a large section of the lower floors is to dedicated for green space for training and farming needs as well as general relaxation. Sneak Peek images to come as I prepare it for such.

*IMPORTANT INFO*
My project is going on near indefinite hiatus until I set up my new computer with minecraft. I will be discarding 90% of my models and the entire cache of design plans, and restructuring my project to reflect the needs of simulated real life RP players through a forum discussion. My vision is still alive, but it is not possible to achieve with my current designs, University study load, and novel project. The projected end to the hiatus is between 1 to 3 years from this date on the 10th of June 2015.

Last nugget to share about this project; like all players of a game, you come to the point where the little things pose no interest and aren't that fun to do anymore. I have reached that point with minecraft that I am bored of the little things you can do in it, I can only see the joy in making things that are collosal and hard to do, because they don't take a day to make or need just a little attention to detail. The game has been fun, but now I'm going to step back and do the insane things with it now, because there lies the challenge of creativity and patience for things that no noob is able to concieve of until the time is right for their next step forward. A2 out for the indefinite

Update #3 : by Archeops_The_Second 12/09/2014 10:50:52 pmDec 9th, 2014

I have found the perfect world to replace the lost one, it's a massive plains biome and should do the job perfectley. The only downside is that it is not customized like the last one and is full of caves, ravines and pools of water, which will make the work go slowly and drive my tolerance for the damn water interference to the breaking point. But as the prolific saying goes; fuck it!

Im sorry, but this is a singleplayer survival world project. My foray in researching server hosting has left me dissatisfied with the whole concept completely, also my aspergers syndrome makes my standards in design and block matchment very strict to the point of annoyance for most people who do not understand the compelling and complex need behind it. Thank you for offering your assistance though.

Glad I'm not the only one that has Aspergers and likes to have things set the way they were created. This is really cool; a lot better than what I could ever dream to do :3. Subscribed and diamonded
