Hey all thanks for having a look at my ELEVATOR of Epicness.. its not one of those rapid climb elevators.. no.. this is meant to be for map makers (thinking more mini-game but can be used for other things aswell) ..

you can use this exact elevator OR you can use this for ideas' maybe if your new to redstone you can just scrap some of my code and re-use it for somthing else ;p it really doesnt matter to me' i just want you to enjoy this.

Alright, for now i am just going to tell you how to use this, Eventually when its complete i will probably make up some PDF or somthing similar on a quik(er) way to set this up for you own map, of course.. thats is if you dont choose to make your map around this.. (which personally is what i plan to do..)

Continuing with instructions..

1. there is a bunch.. about 5 buttons you have to press before you start using the elevator. they are marked by signs .. so you shouldnt miss them.
(the video shows which one you have to press first,  if you cant be bothered watching it .. its the one button by itself)

2. the button on the left (inside the elevator) is used to activate detection sequence and than again (after a prompt) used to set a floor destination. Since the latest update you have to stand right next to the button (obviously not on the bench)

3. the button on the right (inside the elevator) is used to start the elevation sequence, you only have to press is once, you have to set a floor of course. ( it wont work unless you have set a floor) Also Since the latest update you have to stand right next to the button (again obviously not on the bench)

4. once you have experienced the lovely style and finness of my elevator you have to wait a small time while the elevators brains reset.. for now i have a temporary message letting you know when its done.. (neither of the buttons will work until the machine is reset)

5. re use.. it works queit well even with multiple persons..

Ok As this is W.I.P - work in progress, there is a few exploits and a couple bugs(that i know of) that i havent got around to fixing/stopping so for now your just going to have to be trust worthy ;P

These lists dont include anything you can do by destroying blocks.. i assume that you would make your players use this with adventure mode.

Bugs or exploits with lines through mean they have been fixed and  an explanation of how they have been fixed will be mentioned in the update logs. Also there are bugs that have been fixed that arent listed here but in the update log.

BUGS I CAN FIX:
1.the animation that shows you moving up and down flickers when the machine is being reset (dont get excited its just blocks)
2.i forget at the moment..

BUGS THAT I CANT FIX
1.when teleporting with other people it seems they fly through the floor.. but i cant do anything about that and its not to destracting..

EXPLOITS
1. if you press the button on the left and than leave the elevator(without pressing start) your information wont get removed and anyone else that uses the elevator after that will cause you to teleport up the amount of floors that the current user of the elevator travels.. 

(obviously it wont happen again (because after one use it resets all the users of the elevator) unless you repeat the exlpoit)

2. if you press the start button from a distance you are able to walk out of the elevator before the doors shuts.. (it will however teleport you still and than be reset, but the player may be able to get to room they wherent supposed to..)

3.if you leave the elevator once the elevator has been used via cheats(Teleport, breaking walls)  or even like in exploit 1 or 2. o.O and than quikly press the temporary command blocks this will basically allow you to use the elevator again before its properly reset (the reset sequence does certain things in a certain order..) obviously this wont be a problem when its complete because those command blocks will not be acessible...

4.If the player uses the button on the left (in the elevator) to set a floor and another player is tapping it aswell but only after the first person has been using it than MAYBE the players will have different floors set.. Im not sure that this is a bug as i think i may have already tested this with a friend.. i cant remember..

FIX:
for 1 and 2 just using the elevator will fix the error (as long as you use it correctly ;p derp)  with 3 you may overload the command blocks i recommend just deleting the world and restarting a new one.. although there is a way to unload it bit by bit.. it takes way to long :/
