Welcome to Lisrina, a creative playground!
Lisrina is a large continent featuring multiple biomes and custom caves ready for you to explore and build on. Lisrina is approx. 17km x 13km of landscape for you to wander through, discover and build on. If you're looking for stylish and realistic terrain for builds, or a huge region to make an adventure/RPG/RP map with, you've come to the right place.
Lisrina is designed for creative players in mind, or those looking for a multi-biome map to build an adventure or RPG on.
FIXES
Swamp region fix downloadable here.

Lisrina uses vanilla blocks but BetterVanillaBuilding as its included resource pack. The following mods are recommended for an enhanced play/exploring experience:
BetterVanillaBuilding
Bundled with Lisrina is BetterVanillaBuilding by stefanj2_, a resource pack designed to enhance the look and feel of vanilla while adding various overlays* and custom items. Lisrina's version of BVB has been specifically tuned to fit the world map.
*For the best experience and use of overlays, please install OptiFine.

Biome Datapack
Lisrina features a datapack which adds custom biomes. The datapack included is designed to work for version 1.18.2. Loading Lisrina in a different version before changing the datapack will result in custom biomes being replaced with Plains.
If you're using 1.20+, Quamsy has made a datapack that will work for you. Download it here and replace the "Lisrina Biomes.zip" datapack with this one. This should also work for 1.19.4 but I have not tested it myself. More info can be found on the page.
To update the datapack yourself (not recommended)
1) Go to the Lisrina save folder and open "datapacks"
2) Unzip "Lisrina Biomes.zip"
3) Open "pack.mcmeta"
4) Change the "pack format" respective to your version of Minecraft:
5) Save and close "pack.mcmeta"
6) Re-zip the files by selecting the "data" folder and the "pack.mcmeta" files, then right clicking and sending to a .zip that way. Do not make a .zip by right clicking the "Lisrina Biomes" folder! Give it a name like "Lisrina Biomes version 1.19" or whatever so you can distinguish it from the original .zip.
7) Remove the original .zip from the "datapacks" folder. You could just drag it out of the "datapacks" folder into the save folder so you don't lose it, but it's your choice.
Browser Map
Bundled with Lisrina is an in-browser map viewer. Open the folder called "Lisrina - Browser map" and open "Lisrina - Browser Map.html" for an in-browser map, created with uNmINeD which can be zoomed in and out.
FAQs
Is this map survival friendly?
Yes.. but no. There are a lot of unnatural blocks used for terrains and none of the trees have decay. However I have included ores in this map if you want to play in survival. Note that I have not tested this map for survival, nor is it really intended for survival play.
Why do I get a warning when I open the map/there's a warning symbol next to Lisrina?
Lisrina uses custom biomes which is an experimental feature. You can safely proceed to open the map if you get the warning.
What's outside of the map?
Vanilla Minecraft. Lisrina has a vanilla water level so the world will mostly blend with vanilla generation. However this is all untested and you will probably end up with some bizarre looking borders. Venture at your own peril!
Do I really have to use BetterVanillaBuilding?
Lisrina was designed for and tested with the included resource pack. However, you can remove or disable it if you wish to use your own pack. Note that this version of BVB replaces soul sand with mud, so you may find soul sand in unexpected places.
What shader did you use for your screenshots?
Complimentary Shaders.
Can I use your custom biome datapack for my own projects?
You can, just give me credit. The custom biomes are just cosmetic changes from existing biomes and are untested outside of Lisrina, so they may not work as you'd expect.
Can you upload a different version?
No. Lisrina is designed for Minecraft Java 1.18 and above only.
I noticed a glitched area!
If you see any areas that look glitched or broken please let me know right away! Lisrina is extremely large and testing has taken a lot of time. I may have missed some things. Just comment/DM me the coordinates and what the problem is and I'll fix it.

3 Update Logs
Datapack for 1.20/1.19.4 fix available now : by Dannypan 07/06/2023 11:12:45 amJul 6th, 2023
Quamsy has made an updated datapack for Lisrina that will work for 1.20. You can download it here.
You will need to redownload Lisrina and add this datapack for biomes to work properly for these versions of Minecraft.
---
From Quamsy:
This is a Datapack Fix to add compatibility for the Lisrina Custom Biomes in 1.20.X. (should also work for 1.19.4)
Updated some of the Biome Files to use the updated definitions. Should work seamlessly when loading the map for the first time after replacing the existing Datapack. If loaded previously with the old Datapack you will need to reload the World from scratch.
Hope this helps anyone using the map in 1.20!
Thank you for making this!

Dont intend to use the map commercially!and i dont distribute file🥰
You can do whatever you want with Lisrina for private and public use, provided you:
- Do not paywall access on a server,
- Do not re-distribute the map yourself,
- If you use it for a publicly accessible server, give me credit.
Go nuts. Edit the map however you like. Blow half of it up if you want to, you can always re-download it after all. This is good to know, I'm gonna update the requirements. When you see this, I'll have posted a little guide on how to update the datapack - but you will need to re-download Lisrina I'm afraid!
Thank you!
Maybe 1.20.1 uses pack_format 16?
Hope it's okay to post a quick updated version, MC changed precipitation for biome definitions in 1.19.4. Let me know if you would like it unlisted ;)
