PMC: Let´s do after a long time a new building contest.
me: Wait after all these months a new building contest ?!
me: Dammit, was just making good progress on my (secret) megabuild.
PMC: Well you wanted one so shut up and enter.
me: okay... (places secret megabuild on hold).

Le thinking:
What´s easy to make so I can go back to my megabuild?
- Heaven´s gate, two statue´s and a freaking gate?
meh, to basic/standard.

Le mind:
Though I devour the five lands
and drink the three oceans dry,

So why not a snake?
How should I let it look like?

2-9th of July:
me: Building the skelet.
me: Making the first head idea (purple head structure in gallery)
me: Nope, nope, screw the head of the Dara-Amadyuara. I go for a classic head.
me: After the skin making, time for the reskinning for the patterns.
me: Yugh, round/cubic balloons.

9th of July:
me: First version finished, including the renders.

Possible plans for later additions:
- Redo the bloody tail.
- Make the organs of the snake.
- Make steve´s survival house (from ¨description story¨)

Things I learned of my first organic build:
- I hate these organic builds.

Welcome to my PMC ¨head into the clouds¨ contest entry.
Instead of buildings and large structures I decided to build for my first time an organic structure. A snake to be more precise. Why? I decided to go for an totally different entry that can work out or not. (Okay was the best idea I got.)

After a structurised approach I made it, although there are rooms for improvements I had enough of this organic build. This is my first but also my last organic build I made.
The name of the snake came out of the two main inspiranation sources. The Dara-Amadyuare, in the end not used and the Nargacuga.

For those who wonders how this combines with the contest? Simply I put up some balloons so the snake could go into the clouds exploring new regions instead of only the earth. Whereas Steve has explored the space/nehter/a coaster experience a snake may enjoy a cloudy region. (I could have made a snake with a astronauts helmet back then, but I didn´t think of it then.)

Small story:
Steve woke up from his slumber. He noticed that the mossy ground where he was up lying, actually the mouth of a giant snake was. He crawled towards the outside of the mouth and saw that he was flying. The snake gradually flew towards the land. Steve was surprised that the snake didn´t devoured him.

After a while the snake gently flew over a landpiece that was floating in clouds. Just as the rest of the pieces of land around. Steve decided that he couldn´t live in a snake´s mouth so he jumped. After a terrible jump steve crawled up again and looked around.

The trees were larger than the giant jungle trees he founded in the jungle areas from a long time ago. Steve decided to build a house inside a tree. They were large enough and provided for a good amount of wood and shelter.

Some days later when Steve made his treehouse enjoying some mushroom soup he saw once again the snake gently flewing by. Steve only realized by now that the snake wasn´t flying but floating around by the winds on the same height.
After that Steve knew his mission on this cloudy land: Getting the snake on land and feed it as the snake lost weight over time he would fly towards the sun and die. By waking up in the snake´s mouth without falling down in the endless depths and not eaten Steve thaught that he atleast should trying to help out the snake.

- Made on the starters map for the contest.
