I bid you Greetings & Welcome to the Dark Forest Village!
Basically my idea of the ideal, symmetrical Medieval Forest Village.
The village measures 128 x 128 blocks (or 8 x 8 chunks).
The village contains 16 houses, one for each villager type + the Mayor.
The houses occupy the outermost chunks.
I’ve intentionally left them mostly empty, so you can decorate them the way you want.
I had to extinguish half of the house fireplaces due to lag.
There are 4 main farms, one for each of the main villager-trading crops (Beetroot, Carrots, Potatos & Wheat).
I've included Scarecrow statues on the farms because I think they look cool.
The credit for the scarecrow design goes to 'Magmamusen' from YouTube:

There are 8 Pumpkin farms & 8 Melon farms.
There are 16 market stalls.
The center of the village is the Well, surrounded by 4 fountains.
The are some small watering holes/pools on the corners of the town squares.
There are 4 Horse Stables/Wheat-Storage Sheds in the corners of the village.
There are 8 partially-covered animal pens between some of the houses.
The village is not mob-proof, because I didn’t know if people would prefer lanterns or torches everywhere.
I spawned in the following mobs:
2 Horses in each of the corner stables.
2 Pigs near the Butcher’s House.
2 Cows near the Leatherworker’s House.
2 Sheep near the Shepherd’s House.
2 Chickens near the Fletcher’s House.
I haven't let any other mobs spawn in (eg. Villagers, Iron Golems, Cats, ect.) to minimize lag.
The world is a Customized, Super-flat world with the following parameters:
1 x layer of Bedrock
59 x layers of Stone
3 x layers of Dirt
1 x layer of Grass
The whole world is the ‘Dark Forest’ biome with Decoration (trees, ect.).
‘Naturally-Generated' structures and the 'Bonus Chest' are turned off.
Default gamemode is Creative with ‘Cheats’ enabled.
The seed is: 1
I have set the following:
/gamerule doMobSpwning false
/gamerule doDaylightCycle false
/gamerule doWeatherCycle false
Any questions - just leave a comment below.
Thanks everyone, and I hope you enjoy! :)
