The Defender Class Support Frigate

The Defender class is the answer to the need for a fast military freighter. However, the Defender is more than just a freighter, it is the Terran Trade Confederation's first modifiable ship! The defender's design includes an enormous rail along the inlining of the large cargo area which enables captains to mount just about anything they could want onto their ship. Cargo containers, flight pods, pinnace racks, even large offensive or defensive weapons platforms can be mounted onto the Defender. This allows it to fill almost any role a captain can imagine for a ship of this size.
