Deoksugung (Korean: 덕수궁, Hanja: 德壽宮), also known as Gyeongungung(경운궁) is a palace located in Jeong-dong, Jung-gu, Seoul, South Korea. It was built during the Joseon Dynasty(1392-1897) and was used as the imperial palace of the Korean Empire(1897-1910).The palace was built in the late 19th and early 20th centuries when Western culture came in, creating a unique atmosphere with Western and oriental architecture coexisting.

The palace was severely damaged through the Great Fire in 1904 and Japanese colonial era, and is now only one-third of its original size.
Since this map is set in April 1988, some buildings restored in the 21st century do not exist.
