Model: Echizen-Ōno Castle
The castle was built around 1576 in present-day Fukui Prefecture by Nagachika Kanamori
on the orders of Oda Nobunaga. Different clans then occupied the castle.
The original keep was destroyed by fire. The current tower of the castle was rebuilt in 1968
with reference to images and castles of the same period.
