A lot of people use tree schematics as layers to create interesting environments for Worldpainter worlds and things like that. But, in the previous maps I've made, I used megafaunal animals to decorate the wilderness just as much as the trees and shrubs. I hand-placed them in with Worldedit at first, but to add a bunch all at once, it's wholly possible to use a Worldpainter layer to generate animals in your custom worlds! You can also just load & paste them in wherever you want with Worldedit or another mod, as I was doing, if you want their placement to be 100% precise.

Some of these animals are a bit better-looking than others. I was constrained to the animals' IRL sizes, so some of them inevitably have more detail and character. I'll admit- the elephants are my favorite. There are 10 total species in this pack, with 17 schematics in total.

Species list:
1. White Rhinoceros (Ceratotherium simum)
The square-nosed, single-horned rhino from Africa. The northern subspecies is sadly effectively extinct- last I checked the last male recently died. However, the southern subspecies is faring better.
2. Wooly Rhinoceros (Coelodonta antiquatis)
An ice-age beast, these rhinos roamed the steppes and taigas of Eurasia during the Pleistocene epoch before going extinct around 8,000 BC. But in Minecraft, anything is possible, so any historic, fantasy, or sci-fi setting can easily justify having these beasts live once more!
3. Black Rhinoceros (Diceros bicornis)
A two-horned African rhino species; its genus and species names both translate into "two-horn" very originally.
4. Asian Elephant (Elephas maximus)
The elephant native to India and Southeast Asia, living in the rainforests. Genetically more similar to the mammoths than it is to the African elephant
5. Giraffe (Giraffa cameleopardis)
There's a few different species of giraffe in Africa, mostly differentiated by geographic range and pelt pattern. Unfortunately, I can't change up the fur too well, so the end product is something vaguely and generally giraffid.
6. Common Hippo (Hippopotamus amphibius)
The hippopotamus. Probably not as wide as I built it ingame, but still, these are stocky animals- and Africa's most dangerous mammal, despite being 100% herbivorous.
7. African Elephant (Loxodonta africana)
The largest living land animal on Earth. Also the original which started this whole thing- I built a small herd on a server last year and everyone loved them (except for a few griefer-poachers).
8. Wooly Mammoth (Mammuthus primigenius)
Another extinct creature. Mammoths did live into the historical era, still alive on remote Arctic islands as late as the construction of the pyramids of Giza. For fantasy worlds, mammoths can still roam the tundras if you so choose!
9. Indian Rhinoceros (Rhinoceros unicornis)
A one-horned rhinoceros native to the foothills of the Himalayas, in northern India and Nepal. These guys have thick armor and warty butts.
10. Pink Elephant (Elephas roseus)
An admittedly-fake animal of my own creation. I think they're cute though.
