The original Ef'thar, roughly meaning "across the expanse" in an ancient language even older than the Vinitican Empire, was a realm of three inhabited continents- the mountainous Orica in the north, the lush Silvica in the southeast, and the vast Arenica in the west. These lands played host to a various bunch of powerful nations on the first iteration of TerraTales, and I had the honor of being the creator of this world. (but we all know that my homeland of Luang was the greatest nation of them all!!)

The original server had one problem though- I used other peoples' tree schematics, which while nice, I couldn't enable leaf decay for these trees or else they'd destroy themselves and look dead. While the thousand-odd players we had enjoyed the map, that was their main concern, to the point where staff had to intervene whenever someone wanted to clear land. So I swore to right this historical wrong, and started making my own lifelike survival-friendly tree schematics and release them for free, which I still continue to do, nearly two years and a thousand schematics later.

So here I am, returning to my roots, re-releasing the full map, but updated to 1.20 with the new tree and block types available. Hence the title Ef'thar Relaoded. There's a cherry grove on the island of Amaca, and the trees are pretty much all new, but otherwise it's the same old Ef'thar many of us knew and loved. Hopefully you'll love it again this time around.
