A portal found in a deep cavern, leading you a mysterious dimension once ruled by 7 gems, but now the gems are scattered around the realm by unknown force and reason, causing the realm to stuck in eternal night. To go back to where you belong, you must retrieve the gems and save this world by conquering many kinds of challenges and bosses, and the mystery of this realm slowly unfolds as you progress.

【Map Features】
Multiplayer Support
1. You can choose the difficulty according to the recommended amount of players and player type info provided
2. The difficulty will decide the map's initial level. Easy mode starts with level 0, normal mode starts with 2, and so on.
Map Level & Progression Level
1. Every time a main quest boss is defeated, the map level & progression level +1
2. Map level affects all mobs' HP, attack damage and boss abilities. The initial level is decided by the difficulty you choose.
3. Progression level affects all mob drops, and chest loots. The initial level is always 0.
8 Epic Boss Fights (Mini Bosses not included)
1. The bosses in this map require observations, reaction speed and sometimes strategy to defeat.
2. Some bosses' abilities will change slightly according to the amount of players, which is auto balancing.
3. When the player dies, they become spectator mode. Once everyone is dead, the boss fight will be reset and send everyone back to the village.
Upgrade System and Weapon & Armor Abilities
1. Players can only get starter gear in the beginning, the only way to get better weapon and armor is to kill mobs to earn money and use the money to buy materials for upgrade.
2. Weapon abilities will be slowly unlocked according to the weapon level
3. Diamond tier armors will have 9 split upgrade path, you can decide which type of special armor set you like and then upgrade to it accordingly to get set bonus.
Loot Chest
1. Loot chest is classified into tier 1~3, and since progression level affects the content as well, it's classified further into C~S
2. Loot chest will be gone once it's been looted, and respawn after some time
3.The respawn time of tier 1 loot chest is 5 minutes, tier 2 is 20 minutes and tier 3 is 1 hour.
Warpstone and Waystone
1. Find the waystone around the map to register the locations, you can then teleport to the registered location using warpstone.
2. You cannot use warpstone during boss fight and dialogues.
Custom Status Effects
1. Embrittlement : Decreases the armor value
2. Immunisation : Clears and prevents from getting negative effects
3. Sealed : Unable to use weapon abilities
4. Nullfication : Clears and unable to get positive effects
5. Blindness : Decreases the mobs' follow range by 85%

A few notices you can't ignore before trying this map
1. Optifine is a must, because of the resource pack, or you might experience some weird stuff2. The map contains full screen effects that only work properly for GUI scale 3, please make sure your GUI scale is set to 3.3. The map only supports 2 languages : English (US) and 繁體中文 (台灣). Using any language other than these two the map will not be able to auto translate.4. The map contains boss music; however, we DON'T own any of the music. If you're streaming or making a video of this, it is recommended to either turn off your noteblock sound or use your own background music to overlap it. The credits are provided when the music plays and the end of the map.
5. The map already contained the resource pack, you don't need to download it. If the resource pack doesn't work, download it [here]
6. Do NOT use any mods or play in 3rd party server such as paper or spigot, they may cause bugs that we are not able to fix.

As many of you may have noticed, Chapter One is considered a demo version. There are several reasons for this. After reviewing the feedback, comments, and gameplay videos, we believe the current quality of the map isn’t sufficient and requires significant improvements. Additionally, the story concludes in Chapter Two, making it odd to continue referring to them as separate chapters. Therefore, we’ve decided to release the next map as the full version of **Evernight**—a revamped version of Chapter One combined with the unreleased content from Chapter Two, all in a single map.
FAQ :
1. Do you have a discord server for Evernight?
A: Yes, but we don’t plan to make it public before the first half of Evernight 2 is done.
2. Can we transfer the progress of the previous map to Evernight 2?
A: No, Though Evernight 2 do contain chapter one content, they’ve been changed, and the system is completely different, making it incompatible.
3. What’s the ETA?
A: There’s no ETA, not only because there’s still a lot to work on, but also because we prefer to approach it more casually, rather than working on it every day.

I would consider this one of the best adventure maps out there.
The only critique I have is that the particles from some of the armor sets were pretty disruptive.
That last boss is hard to beat but it was fun
