I am undergoing a project in reaching and studying the "Far Lands" or end of the map in Minecraft. I will document my findings and upload them here.

After a key update, the state in which the Far Lands operates has been changed. Instead of remarkable structures and twisted mountains, the world starts generating "False Chucks"; mathematical chunks that seem to be identical to regular chunks with seemingly impossible differences.

Stage 1: Basics
---------------------------------------------------------------
What are the key differences between regular chunks and False chunks?
False Chunks...
- are completely non-solid; you will fall right through them to the void (along with dropped items)
- do not render lighting properly; all lighting seems to be the same (light levels defaulted at day/night time with no shadows)
- seem to be viewable by a shaded "black strip" (refer to pictures)
- do not spawn mobs
- do not generate ores, tall grass/shrubs, trees/cacti, mushrooms, lily-pads, or flowers

Additional Notes

You can visit the "Far Lands" by jumping to the coordinates of...
x: 30 000 000
Z: 30 000 000
