Past the cities of Regina Ventorum and Aegis lies a massive canyon, aptly named after the strong underground currents from its various cave systems. Originally one of the largest entrances into the Caves of Creation, ancient builders from the city of Regina Ventorum, named Valeris at that time, built large road networks to navigate the maze of caves. In the year 660, after the start of the Necrotic Plague and almost 300 years after the period called the Pax Valkyria, the entrances into the caves seemingly collapsed out of nowhere, leaving behind only the ruined structures of past civilization and becoming a staging ground for bandits and hooligans.
