Hello! It's me, Nonatal.

This is the first serious large organic I have done. While it is not perfect, I am satisfied with how it turned out. Working with organics has been so much fun! I can't wait to do more in the future.

As you probably can tell, this 'beast' is a hellhound! When I saw the contest I knew I would like to try out organics, and what is more fitting than a hellhound? I also knew I would like to try out some of the new blocks, and I gotta say, I'm absolutely in love with the Blackstone and Netherite Blocks.

The dog is holding a scythe because I found it a fitting weapon for a death beast. Wielding a weapon by mouth does reminds me of the Great Grey Wolf Sif boss from Dark Souls and Zacian from Pokémon... Honestly, it's kind of endearing.

Why is it guarding flowers? Well...
I once heard the phrase somewhere: "You are not a flower from hell, so don't blossom there". I've been thinking about that and wondering what kind of flowers would grow in such a place. The mysterious and evil flair to 'hell flowers' was what made me include them in the end! (and also an excuse to use even more 1.16 blocks)
