It started as a sketch with wings, and then I realized I didn't want to do the wings (as usual). And the body seemed rather ground-friendly, anyway. So I made it into a ground-prowling dragon with what feel, to me, like hints of other land-based beings.


Its short torso and long limbs hold it back from being a true sprinter like the cheetah, but it can still outrun most prey, as well as sneak, pounce, and grapple. Its proportions are better suited to climbing cliffs, and powerful claws assists its grip as well as allowing it to dig burrows.
