The central part of Haddock Castle, the inner ward is where the keep, chapel, and barracks are located. The lower level of the barracks also includes an armory, a forge, and the castle's stables. The inner ward is protected by a solid wall, made up of rubble (I used cobblestone), a mixture of rocks and mortar, sandwiched between two layers of stone bricks. The only entrance is through a sturdy gatehouse, protected by large wooden doors, a wooden portcullis, arrow loops, and a murder hole. Through the murder hole, soldiers could drop rocks, fire arrows, and pour boiling water and oil on intruders who become trapped between the doors and portcullis.
Note: For the MCEdit version of the build, the castle will be elevated high above the ground when first inserted in the world. This is a result of the castle's well, which extends the schematic far underground.
Note: Please play in peaceful mode, otherwise monsters might begin to spawn in the darker parts of the castle during the night.
