The HMS Armageddon is a fictional ship based off the design of a 4th rate ship of the line.
This 58 gun frigate would have been popular in the early 1700's but as ships got bigger 4th rates were overlooked and replaced by bigger ships such as 1st rates (99+guns) and 2nd rates (90-98 guns) during the late 1700's.
