This fictional ship is based off the rough design of a schooner from the late 1700's.
Such ships would be used as supply ships for transporting food and water from the mainland to naval ships in active service.
These ships were vital to the foundation of the navy which relied on thier goods. These ships being only lightly armed in most casses, often fell prey to enemy warships and therefor had to be escorted by larger frigates.
