UPDATE: This still works in Minecraft 1.7.4 Single Player. Sadly, not in Multiplayer.

I figured this out from good friends on my server (landofordos.org). It helps a lot so please download and recommend.

Stepsto use:
1. Mine the obsidian on each side (total of 4 blocks)
2. Put 2 redstone on each side right where the obsidian was.
3. Pull both levers and wait for the 4 blocks of obsidian to form.
4. Mine the obsidian and continue the pattern.

Yeah but on the server redstone lags it so the obsidian is worth it... well good job anyways! =D

It's cool but it's a waste of redstone :( Both of the items are hard to find :

Your right. When I'm looking for redstone i cant find it but when I'm making a room or something there is always redstone i my way.

i like it apart from i made one ina server ages ago which create around 20 per harvest.
