Kait - Clash on the Big Bridge
Hello! This is my first project where I will not include the download for this map for specific reasons. This is my first arena, named after the concept artist, so don't judge on its limitations (including the fact the bridge is super long), please. xD
FUN FACT: The world's longest bridge, according to Guinness World Records since its completion in 2010, is the Danyang–Kunshan Grand Bridge, having 168 km (102 miles) of railway length. It is located in China, between Shanghai and Nanjing, roughly running parallel to the Yangtze River.
The screenshots include:
WorldPainter, downloadable freeware (recommended for large-scale operations)
World Machine, free and premium (recommended for large-scale terraforming)
Chunky Render, downloadable freeware

Journal Entry of Matre Iseous Xavier
The war between the two is still on-going, I had to keep travelling back to the same planet to resolve the dispute only for it to grow worse in their future. The Crimson's and the Azure's roots of rivalry had embedded itself deep into the heart of their empires - something untangible and stoic. Peace wouldn't prevail until one of the empires had complete victory over the other, which wouldn't happen anytime soon.
I had travelled back again to an iceworld of their planet. Everywhere was a cold, barren desert of deep blizzards and scattered blood. Very few of their species remained. Food and warmth were the current essential resource, alongside raw material to produce munitions and weaponry still used to battle the opposing faction. Politics and healthcare was no longer needed in this time of crisis, when sins and contagions died out with the majority of their humanity. Minimal resources were allocated to reluctantly researching new technology, the most recent I've witnessed were communications beacons solely built to contact any signs of survivors outside the vicinity.
The highest stable plateau nearest to the colonies was one of the landmark sites for these beacons. The sector was named Kait, according to the inhabitants of one colony I visited. Two beacons already have resided there; however, they were controlled by the opposing empires. I've learnt the two have competed for years in broadcasting the same signal in attempt to recruit survivors into one faction, and destroy the other. The signal will be amplified to a larger radius once an empire captured two towers, claiming victory over the other empire. A bridge was built in between originally to share resources and information - now a bridge of relentless battles. To ensure advanced security, four defensive and offensive gates have been made to slow down one's advance from one beacon to the other. It was not just a battle from the roots, it was a battle dedicated to their faction's ultimate survival in this hellish world that was to have no opposition from anyone, especially an opposing faction.
Subitive members of the Resistance only watched from afar. They had absolutely no power to intervene like before. Like myself, they observed the spectacular clash on the big bridge re-iterating over and over again. It looked fun to watch, except when you were on that bridge.

Btw you're awesome for using tsfh for the music. Do you listen to their other stuffs or do you mainly just use it as background music? Either way, glad at least one other person has heard of them.

I listen to TSFH and other artists like them also as my pleasure music, not a fan of mainstream.
I pretty much have the same feeling towards other people who listen to them, at least we have good taste in music :)
No matter, this will definitely be featured on WiR. My way of rectifying this utter injustice. ;)
