Karlsplatz 3 was a 19th century historicist townhouse located in midst of the 18th and 17th century buildings on the Karlsplatz, facing the Oberneustädter, - or Karlskirche. It was the only build from that era on this square, and replaced a smaller 17th century stone house, which can still be seen on old paintings of that square.
On the 22th octobre 1943 it was destroyed, along with the whole square.
