Scale Model of KMS Bismarck, in her* 1941 configuration.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Model used for videos on personal channel.
KMS Bismarck, the lead ship of the largest class of Battleships constructed by European powers, served for the Kriegsmarine between 1940 and 1941.
Despite only taking part in one major operation, she and her sister ship Tirpitz gained infamy with Allied powers for being two of the strongest and most capable warships of their time.
Bismarck in particular, on her last sortie in Operation Rheinübung, famously detonated the British Battlecruiser Hood, took unrecoverable damage to her rudder from an aerial dropped torpedo, and was later scuttled after receiving incapacitating damage from several British warships.
Only 114 of the 2,200 sailors survived her sinking.
Today she remains one of the most infamous and impressive naval vessels, along with her final journey.
It'd be a shame to let these impressive vessels get lost in history, hopefully my work can get people interested in the real things!
Please use the download fairly and give credit if used for your own projects :,)
* In German, ships are referred to as male, however since I am describing the vessels and their details in English, I will refer to them as female, as per tradition
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Model Details:
Length : 251 Blocks
Beam : 37 Blocks
Draught : 9 Blocks
Height o/a : 60 Blocks
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

these are simply replications of structures that have existed or still exist**]

While creating the tutorial for the build, I realised I had for some reason
a) Forgot the bell above the hangar.
b) Build the door of the lifeboat keeps on the wrong side.
(Also apparently my litematica file on the alternate download was 'Bimsarck' -.-)
Sorry to anyone who's downloaded already.
smooth as hell
Also also, I will be updating this page once the video is out :D.
