Scale Model of HMS Warspite, in her 1940s configuration.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Model used for videos on personal channel.
HMS Warspite, second ship of the 5 completed Queen Elizabeth-Class Battleships, and the most decorated warship of the Royal Navy.
After entering service in 1915, she saw a highly eventful career. Participating in both world wars, in famous battles such as the Battle of Jutland in 1916.
During her service she suffered heavy damage on multiple occasions, sometimes as a result of malfunctioning systems on board, giving her a reputation of having a mind of her own to protect other, more vulnerable vessels. Over her long career, she endured damage from shellfire, bombing, ramming, mines and even early guided missiles.
Warspite also shares the record for one of the longest-range confirmed naval artillery hits on another moving vessel. During the Battle of Calabria, she scored a direct hit on Italian Battleship Giulio Cesare at a range of approximately 24 km, prompting the retreat of the enemy.
Despite efforts to preserve her as a museum ship, she was set to be scrapped in 1946, after her decommissioning the previous year, although her fighting spirit persevered. Due to various complications during her final tow, her faith was delayed to eventually 1955, allegedly resulting in the most expensive salvage operation in British waters.
Today she remains as a well recognised and widely loved vessel for her extensive service among other factors.
It'd be a shame to let these impressive vessels get lost in history, hopefully my work can get people interested in the real things!

Thank you for the comment though! Texas is also on my to-do list ^^
Fair number of creators from here inspired my own work, and I hope to make more in the spare time I get :)
