Welcome to one of the most accurate recreations (if not the only one...) of the Great Palace of Constantinople in Minecraft. It is shown as it may appear in the year 1200. The scale we are following is 2 blocks = 1 meter.
It is being built by a friend of mine (Heraclius) and me, since October 2015, using Byzakrafton resourcepack, created by me.

We are continuing with the project, since we have a plausible hypothesis for the plan of the Constantinean palace. However, that means that we are rebuilding from scratch most of the map (excepting Hagia Sophia, Hagia Eirene, the Hippodrome and the Boukoleon, almost everything else will be rebuilt).

If you are thirsty for the Great Palace in Minecraft though, I am currently building it aswell, but in 1:1 scale, and the rest of the city aswell. Should be made public this year, but I do already have the Hagia Sophia up for download.
