Haven't posted for one year, but still building from time to time. Here's La Renommée, I must say, my favorite frigate. (3:1 scale)
La Renommée, Frégate de 8, 1744
La Renommée was an armed frigate bearing 8-pounder guns. It was a unique ship because she was one of the first modern frigates to be built in 1744 according to Blaise Ollivier's concepts.
The armament consisted of 26 8-pounder guns and four 4-pounders. The frigate was launched in Brest on 19 December 1744. She was captured by HMS Dover on 27 September 1747 and taken into the Royal Navy as HMS Renown. She was broken up in 1771.
