Alright this project's one that I've been on-off about since the 11th of July.
Basically Izwasbored or whateverthehell his real MC name is, made a comment that riled us up and made us want to attempt at beating Murps's spawn-contest map.
Of course, we knew deep in our hearts, this was an impossible feat, knowing it's Murps we were up against. But we like to sport and entertain ourselves on the possibility that one of us might just do it.

So here is the deal.
Since July the 11th, i've spend roughly 11-12 days on this, working up a template.
The build is 1300x1300, and isn't even 30% done.
I have until August the 11th, and my birthdays on august the 10th so lets scratch that day out.
I have.. 9 days to finish this.

Right now, it's a whole lot of mess and copy / paste. But hey, lets see how i go in the next 9 days.

Contest Theme:
Aeries City

City Theme:
Electrical doomsday.

Concept:
Well, it's pretty simple. An electrical themed city, spraying lightning n stuff everywhere, the lapiz lazuli (hella blue blocks that look like tesla coils) spray lightning everywhere, because they ARE tesla coils.
While the middle tower sprays out lightning into the clouds, bringing forth lightning in the form of more dragons, because I have an addiction to them right now =D!
Anyhow, there will be dragons (yes, i'm a dragon whore) surrounding the city, holding back tidal waves of lava. They will be chained to the city, and basically, they're protecting the city unwillingly. but if the city is destroyed, they can't escape. they're still chained.
For those who wonder 'why don't they just melt the chains and fly off', lets just assume the chains are too strong, made out of something amazingly strong. XP

Meanwhile, while those dragons hold up majority of the lava, their kin is angered, and is attacking the city directly.
So yeah, there will be a war over the city as well.

Plan:
Meanwhile, I'll be putting in:

A) A statue of Geistmaus to commemorate a great and inspirational MC player who may have left Aeries recently. If he gets offended by this since we're not on great terms with each other, I'll take it off lol. (so, a statue of Cid)

B) Dragons (illustrated in the first image) huddling around the city, will be chained to the city, and will prevent the city from being flooded by a tidal wave of lava.

C) More dragons. Waaay more. The big ones are mothers, and there will be more of them huddling around. There will be 'babies' flying over the mothers, trying to attack the city.

D) City faculties like the library, trainstation, police station, housing, stores, and other random tidbits.

E) Statues of the Owners of Aeries, since it's an Aeries City. ( Statue of Alecdent, Niersbach and why not, Myself, since i made the damn map!)

F) A dark and twisted forest to surround the city, from the perimeter of the city walls -- to the dragons that surround the city.

G) Reconstruction of gates.

H) An Artificial sky for the center room, as well as fake ambient lighting inside to trick users into thinking it's a real outdoor area!

I) Removal of Herobrine, who has been nothing but a nuisance to this build!
