This project was formerly called the "Netherrack-Themed City" and was begun in pre- 1.8(beta) survival mode which explains the initially heavy reliance on netherrack (it's easy to harvest) although I now just mostly use creative mode editors. Most of the netherrack has since been edited out.

I like it that the map isn't flat in the city itself but with height differences.
